Dr. Remo Gerber
Remo was previously at McKinsey & Co and latterly COO at Groupon Northern Europe, where he oversaw the company's operation during it's busiest period of growth. He joins GetTaxi as MD to do the same. Remo is most relaxed skiing down a snow powdered mountain in his native Switzerland.
Drivers Services Team Leader
An Essex girl, Born and raised, Nuala is the head of GetTaxi's driver recruitment and training in the UK. Nuala has over 20 years of experience in the Taxi trade, dealing with drivers payments, queries and overall service issues. Nuala is also an enthusiastic amateur mixologist, who wisely remembers to take a GetTaxi after experimenting with exotic beverages.
Head of Service
LaToya Charles is our UK, Head of Service. LaToya comes to GetTaxi with a wealth of service improvement and fleet management experience gained in well known, multi-site, organisations in the UK. LaToya’s knowledge and expertise will take GTUK’s Customer Service to the next level and beyond!
Head of Marketing
Paul Sherlock heads up the UK GetTaxi marketing team. With a background in digital marketing & product management from brands such as Google and Lastminute.com and an ability to work locally or globally, Paul is a major asset to our team. Despite his last name suggesting otherwise, Paul is not a detective. In his free time, Paul runs radio shows and enjoys swimming in the sea (yes, even in the UK!)
Global IT Manager
Anton has been looking after all IT and technical support related-work at GetTaxi UK since before it launched in 2011. In fact, if it’s anything to do with product development, testing, new features - Anton was involved. In between managing the incredibly talented team and keeping up with the latest technology, Anton nurtures a gaming addiction which leaves little time for much else!
HR Manager (ISO Project Manager)
As GetTaxi UK's HR Manager, Su spends most of her day supporting our dynamic and talented workforce and acting as ISO Project Manager. Her background is as a long-time specialist in Customer Services and Business Systems Analysis. Before joining GetTaxi, Su was an independent Consultant for the UK public sector, improving processes and procedures on that scale saw her leading teams of up to 120. Su's clients included Transport for London, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and preparing two East London-based Local Authorities for "London 2012".
Founder & CEO
Shahar Waiser is the Founder and CEO of GetTaxi. He is a serial entrepreneur, who’s founded and built companies in US and internationally. In early 2000, Waiser founded Russian entity of publicly traded Comverse [NASDAQ:CMVT] and served as its first CEO with $300M record in total sales. After moving to Silicon Valley in 2005; founded and then sold Loyalize, a social engagement & loyalty startup based in San Francisco (acquired by Viggle [VGGL]). Later, Shahar founded GetTaxi -the largest and fastest growing international player in transportation on demand.
Roi More is one of GetTaxi’s Founders. Over the years Roi has founded several leading Internet ventures, and was involved in many other web-based projects including Kamay Holdings which was acquired by publicly traded 888.com [888:London] and MyLotto.com, the leading lottery affiliate network. Together with Waiser, More also co-founded the Russian version of "Groupon" - Vigoda.ru, which is one of the largest daily deal sites, operating in 94 cities.
Tal Brener is the CFO of GetTaxi. Brener is a former Financial Manager and Controller for Dan transportation, where he managed the finances of several public companies and joint funds for both Dan and the Israeli ministry of transportation. Brener is a certified Aikido expert who finds throwing other martial artists across the room relaxing after a long day wrestling with financial figures.
Ron Srebro is the CEO of Gett USA and is responsible for the growth and development of the company in NY. Prior to this position, Srebro led GetTaxi's innovation where he helped to continually innovate GetTaxi's design and bring to the market the next generation of products. Srebro calls upon over 14 years of programming experience and among his many technological specialties are experiments with context-aware application designs.
Mark is GetTaxi Israel's CEO. Mark brings 10 years' experience in management and sales. Formerly, Mark led the GetTaxi Sales teams and was responsible for the development and sales of the Israeli market. Mark is also a dedicated surfer, who roamed beaches around the world and befriended easy-going sharks.
Vitaly Krylov is CEO of GetTaxi Russia. Previously, Vitaly held the positions of the St. Petersburg office Director and Marketing Director for GetTaxi Russia. Prior to joining the team, Vitaly was running Groupon.ru and Vigoda.ru services in St. Petersburg. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Vitaly graduated from the Russian Academy of National Economy and studied venture investments in the Russian Academy of Sciences.
David Sayag leads GetTaxi's R&D department, focusing on the entire value chain, from amazing user and driver experience to enterprise-class, large-scale infrastructure. David has 17 years of mobile, software, networking and product experience, serving at executive R&D and product management positions in 3Com, Sheer Networks (now Cisco), ICQ and as founder at Enure Networks.
VP Strategy and Corporate Development
Max is responsible for developing corporate strategy and international development for GetTaxi including overseeing the pursuit of strategic business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions and partnerships, overseeing fundraising and investor relations. Max brings over 10 years of experience in strategy, investing, M&A and leading organizational change. At his last role he was part of the senior management team of Intel Capital, where he led investments in a variety of consumer internet and technology companies. Prior to Intel Max worked as private equity investor at Alfa Capital Partners and Flemings.
Coming from two renowned brands, L’Oreal and more recently Google, Rich is now tasked with developing one. Having helped Google Chrome to become the worlds most popular browser he now has the reigns of all of GetTaxi's marketing. Rich is a keen kitesurfer, fan of outrageous socks and a secret tech geek.
Merav Schlesinger Falik
Merav is the VP of Human Resources for GetTaxi. Previously, she was a Human Resources Business Partner for the international software company Retalix [NASDAQ: RTLX]. She is also the former HR Manager for Broad Digital Software Industries.
