This week GetTaxi launched a brand new tracking feature to help our black cab drivers predict the best places to be in the capital to pick up more work, avoid traffic and ultimately make more cash.
It is great news for our passengers too as these all-new HeatMaps will reduce the time it takes the app to locate a taxi and also the amount of time spent waiting for a taxi to pick them up.
Developed by the in-house team at GetTaxi this new technology keeps the company at the forefront of the user experience across the multi-billion European taxi industry and ensures we continue to out-rank in the taxi-app space.
On the drivers in-cab screen a coloured data map will, at a glance, let drivers see the density and volume of customers and taxis in a certain area – a welcome innovation for our growing number of drivers and passengers alike.
